About The Chairperson

Dr. Monica B. Sood is the only daughter of Late Sh. Param Jit Kumar, she was unanimously elected as the Chairperson of National Unity & Security Council by all the Council Members after the demise of the former Chairman in year 1999. Dr. Monica B. Sood, a qualified Physician in Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery, Masters in Human Resources, International Business and Law.  Dr. Monica, who is a widely travelled and qualified woman is also an author of several books, she is personally committed to banish deadly diseases and to alleviate suffering of the downtrodden and to create peace among the different nations. She is the sole in charge of Navjivan Group and also the Chairperson of Navjivan International.

Our History

National Unity & Security Council was founded in year 1984 by Late Sh. Param Jit Kumar with a vision to create National brotherhood and peace among nations. World Peace Seminar was held by National Unity & Security Council in Chandigarh in 1985 was presided over by the Ambassador of Egypt Mr. Mousse E Emriates. Later on a Convention of Religious, Spritual and Social Bodies was held by Council in 1986, which was presided over by Rev. Dr. Gilbert B. Rego, Bishop of Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese, and attended by more than thousands of delegates from all over the country.
